Pilates love notes
Transformative – Engaging – Inspiring – Intuitive. From the moment I first started working with Renata, my body has never been the same (and my back aches are long gone)! Highly skilled and passionate about her work, Renata helps you reach for your best self. Classes are never the same – she’s creative, funny and gorgeous both inside and out. But be forewarned — working with her is addictive. Self care is the best kind of addiction. It’s all about the core — and at the authentic core,
is loving what you do! Kristen Noel • bestselfmedia.com
I’d like to say I found Renata, but she found me, and my body has never been the same. About 4 years ago, Renata noticed me at a previous job that I had been working at and asked if
I dealt with back pain. When I said yes, and how do you know,
she explained that my posture was off and then she talked
a bit about her technique. Shortly there after, I began seeing her regularly. She has helped me stand taller and feel better. My core is stronger and I have become very conscious of my posture. I will say she does not make it easy for you —
she will push you to your limit, but in a very supportive, nurturing way. As long as I can remember I’ve dealt with back and shoulder pain, some of which is due to scoliosis, and
I have tried many physical therapists, acupuncture, etc. This is the only person that has made a difference. I now live an hour and fifteen minutes away, and I continue to see Renata. I will not see any other Pilates instructors — no one has come close to what she does for me and how she makes me feel. Renata
is the ultimate trainer, physical therapist, and beautiful soul."

After years I allowed myself to slow down. I had a painful knee, eventually requiring meniscus surgery. I became less flexible, had less stamina and believed at 66, "I'm just becoming stiff and older." I thankfully found Renata.
Six months later, attending weekly group classes, and more recently short private lessons, I have regained balance, and belief in who I am, and belief in who I want to continue to be.
I feel good about my body, I am stronger, happier, I've lost weight, gained muscle tone and definition. And most importantly, it really doesn't matter at all how old you are.
If you want to, you can regain your more flexible body, your stronger self.
Renata knows so much about how a body should feel, how
the muscles should feel and behave, she can give you the confidence to find yourself again. She asks you what you
want to achieve, she will get you to what your goal is.

I love Renata. She kicks my ass with compassion. I've begun paying attention to my body. My posture, and my movements
in everyday life from a whole new perspective since starting private sessions with Renata twice a week. The diverse exercises of stretching, machine work, weights and body work have positively improved my overall tone, shape and flexibility and
I pay more attention to what I eat and how I move as I get more in touch with my body and new healthier habits. Pilates with Renata has become an integral part of living a healthy, balanced life. Dave Leonard • dj
My wife Teresa had been seeing Renata on a regular schedule for a few months, and she'd come home after each session with a buoyant, positive mental attitude and raving about the experience. After a while, I started noticing a physical change in her as well, loss of weight, muscle definition, better posture and a healthier appearance overall. Teresa tried a few times to convince me that I too could benefit from a few visits to Renata, but I had it in my mind that Pilates was a women's exercise regimen. Realizing that I had to start doing something I finally broke down and took my first class. All I can say is that I wish I had done this sooner. Renata is slowly and steadily changing my life. She's an artist with a unique innate talent for what
she does, and an ability to assess your personal physical
needs. Persistent pains that I had resigned myself to are starting to disappear and flexibility that I thought was lost is giving me a new youthful attitude. My fingers have finally
been reintroduced to my toes. Do yourself a favor, change
your life and go see Renata. Larry Campbell • musician
I took some Pilates in NYC years ago at a highly reputable gym, in large classes where the teacher couldn't possibly monitor beginners closely enough to prevent injury. I gave it up in frustration. Years later, I was having lower back issues and for advice went to a NY Presbyterian Hospital back surgeon, who looked me in the eye and said, "You need to take Pilates."
I found Renata teaching small Pilates classes at a yoga studio. By watching me simply walk, she analyzed my gait, noting the cause of one side being much tighter than the other (verifying the analysis a college running coach had given me years ago.) With her supervision, I learned to do the exercises properly
to prevent back injury, and my back issues began to resolve.
I followed Renata to her new studio, taking my husband
along, as he'd had back issues for years. He felt relief within
the first couple of weeks. Renata is highly skilled and extremely attentive, and you really need that kind of expertise and care when you take Pilates. I'm glad I took that doctor's advice!
